System requirements

To get the maximum experience from your CIPFA publication, please make sure that your software and hardware satisfy the requirements before starting.

Technical Requirements

• ■Users need to have one of the following browsers: Internet Explorer 7.0 or greater, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome.
• ■Users need to have one of the following systems: Windows, Mac, iPad or Android Tablet.
• ■Adobe Acrobat Reader or other PDF Viewer.
• ■Javascript must been enabled in your browser settings.
• ■The screen has been designed to fit devices a minimum device width of 960 pixels.
• ■No other plugins are required for the publication to be viewed correctly.
• ■Our resources are provided as ZIP files. To access them, you will need a program on your device that can extract information from ZIP files.

A few tips

• ■The publication opens as a new page.
• ■Navigate around the publication using the contents list rather than the browser ‘back’ button.
• ■Clicking the browser ‘back’ button will take you to the cover page of the publication.
• ■If you need the page to be larger resize using the control button plus +/- or the mouse roller.
• ■When printing from the browser the output will be affected by your individual printer settings. If you are unable to amend your settings we recommend using the PDF for printing purposes.
• ■The browser print function is set to print complete chapters. We recommend using the PDF for printing individual pages or longer sections.
